Wood Haven, Inc. is a Kansas Company founded in 1981. The company’s owner, Jim Guffey, has created and brought to market innovative building products including the patented Rainscreen Clip and the Deck Clip. Additionally, Wood Haven, Inc. produces and sells architectural millwork and decking in a wide variety of wood species. Wood Haven is FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified and we deal in reclaimed lumber.

The Rainscreen Clip system is sold as a complete system to construct a wood Rainscreen wall. Rainscreens are an increasingly popular cladding solution. It is considered a green building technique for a number of reasons including the system’s de-constructability and because a Rainscreen extends the life of the wood. The goal of the deconstruction movement is to responsibly manage end-of-life building materials to minimize consumption of raw materials. By capturing materials removed during building renovation or demolition and finding ways to reuse them in another construction project or recycle them into a new product, the overall environmental impact of end-of-life building materials can be reduced.
